A Texas mother has been taken into custody following reports of serious abuse towards her children, which reportedly involved an incident where she tried to place her 3-year-old daughter in a heated oven.

As per an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 4, a woman named Lul Top, aged 36, was taken into custody when her five children were taken away from her on January 8. This incident occurred at the family's rented residence in Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

Police Arrested Abusive Texas Mother After Tense Confrontation

The police got caught in a highly intense situation when they tried to serve a warrant at a residence in the Dallas suburb of Allen. According to reports, the individual they were looking for, known as Top, had taken safety in the attic of the residence. Following a tense two-hour standoff, authorities successfully apprehended her. The arrest was a result of allegations described in an arrest affidavit, which portrayed a troubling image of domestic abuse and endangerment.

Based on court documents, the crime took place on January 8 when Allen police were called to Top's residence. Claims emerged that she had used a stick to attack her husband while their six children were present. After the incident, Child Protective Services acted quickly and got the children out of the home.
