The Super Bowl mainly focused on the pursuit of a back-to-back victory for the Kansas City Chiefs and extension, the presence of pop star singer Taylor Swift supporting and congratulating her partner, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
However, a streaking incident happened during the game after at least two people were arrested for running on the field during the Super Bowl game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday (Feb. 11).
CBS Las Vegas affiliate KLAS 8 reported that the incident happened approximately five minutes remaining in the third quarter of the game.
While the persons were never shown on the broadcast, several game attendees were able to record the two people running for a short moment before they were apprehended by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and taken off the field.
The game resumed soon after, with Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker making a 57-yard (52-meter) field goal, eclipsing the record for longest field goal ever in a Super Bowl, set earlier in the game by San Francisco 49ers rookie kicker Jake Moody.
According to court documents, the two men were identified as Alex Gonzalez and Sebastian Rivera. Both would face one charge each of prohibited conduct at an athletic event, which is a misdemeanor.
Both were released without having to post bail and are due in court in April.
