Snake Wrestles With Crocodile In Water, Kills It, Then Swallows It Whole (PHOTO)

A fight between a snake and a crocodile on Sunday ended with the snake eating its opponent whole, the BBC reported.

The animal fight, at Lake Moondarra in northern Queensland, Australia, took place between a 10-foot snake, reported to be a python, and a crocodile in the water. Some of the world's most deadly snakes are native to Queensland, the BBC reported.

Local residents took pictures of the fight, which ended with the legless reptile wrapping itself around the crocodile after wrestling with it. The snake swallowed the crocodile whole.

"I don't know where it went after that- we all left, thinking we didn't want to stick around!" Corlis told the BBC.
