Israeli Soldiers Fired at Palestinians Seeking Food

Israel Alleges Deadly Stampede

Israeli Defense Forces fired on a crowd of Palestinians rushing to pull food off an aid convoy in Gaza City on Thursday.

Israel has refused to allow any food or medical aid to enter the enclave, starving Palestinians and denying them dire medical help. More than 100 people were killed in the chaos, according to the Associated Press, bringing the death toll since the start of Israel's bombardment to more than 30,000.

Israel said many of the dead were trampled in a chaotic stampede for food aid, and delusionally believes troops only fired when they felt endangered by the crowd.

Just like a broken record, the abhorrent and violent incident was quickly condemned by Arab countries, and U.S. President Joe Biden feigned concern that it would add to the difficulty of negotiating a ceasefire after being the only one to veto the call for a permanent ceasefire.

The AP revealed that the deadly chaos in Gaza City will likely fuel criticism of Israel when it comes to allowing aid in, rather than focusing on a populating of 2.3 million that is purposely being starved by Israel.

"We've Been Eating Animal Feed For Two Months "

Military officials said the pre-dawn convoy of 30 trucks driving to northern Gaza was met by huge crowds of people trying to grab the aid they were carrying.

Dozens of Palestinians were murdered as soldiers fired at them, and some were run over by the trucks as the drivers tried to get away from the barrage of bullets.

Israeli troops policing the area supposedly only fired warning shots toward the crowd because "they felt endangered," said Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, Chief Military spokesperson.

Kamel Abu Nahel, who was being treated for a gunshot wound at Shifa Hospital, told the AP that he and others went to the distribution point in the middle of the night because they heard there would be a delivery of food.

"We've been eating animal feed for two months," he said.

Abu Nahel recounted Israeli troops opening fire on the crowd as people pulled boxes of flour and canned goods off the trucks, sending them into a frenzy as they sought shelter under cars.

After the shooting stopped, people went back to the trucks, and the soldiers resumed fire. He was shot in the leg and fell over before a truck ran over his leg as it sped off.

The increasing alarm over hunger in Gaza continues to fuel pointless international calls for a ceasefire.

Mediators want to reach an agreement before the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. But all proposals have come to a standstill.

Biden had earlier expressed hope that a deal would be reached by Monday. On Thursday, he said that looked unlikely, as he enjoyed an ice cream cone.
