No. 1 Florida extended their winning streak to 21 games with a win on Saturday against LSU, 79-61. Although the Gators (27-2) handed the Gamecocks a 74-58 loss in January, Florida coach Billy Donovan

"There are still things out there in front of our team," Donovan said on Monday, according to the Associated Press. "There are things out there for these guys to achieve. I think those guys would like to take on those challenges. The biggest challenge is all that stuff doesn't make a difference if we don't play well against South Carolina."

One "thing" within grasp of the Gators is becoming the first SEC team to ever go 18-0 in league play, which can be accomplished with wins against South Carolina and Kentucky, according to the Associated Press.

With a locker room full of experienced seniors, the Florida players aren't shying from Donovan's lofty expectations for the team.

"I think as he saw the results at the beginning of the season, winning so many games in a row, breaking records and all that, he just sees the ceiling of this team is really high and he wants to motivate us to keep striving for greatness," senior center Patric Young said. "We can do that every game; we can do that every practice. We just need to focus on that each opportunity we get."

South Carolina (11-18), meanwhile, snapped their three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 72-67 victory over Kentucky. The Gamecocks haven't beaten Florida since 2011 and can end the five-game losing streak against them with a win on Tuesday.
