Donald Trump has once again asserted that the Democratic Party holds animosity towards Israel and that Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats harbor disdain for their religion.
This is a recurring statement Trump made during his presidency, suggesting that these voters demonstrate a lack of loyalty to their faith.
Trump Rages at Jews Who Support Democrats
"I actually think they hate Israel," Trump said during a radio interview with former White House staffer Sebastian Gorka.
"Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion, they hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed," Trump continued.
Trump, who has a Jewish daughter Ivanka, extended his criticism towards Jewish Democrats.
In the interview posted on Monday, Trump specifically mentioned Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer holds the distinction of being the nation's highest-ranking Jewish elected official and has consistently shown support for Israel throughout his career.
He implied that Schumer's stance on Israel has shifted due to political motivations, pointing to the widespread pro-Palestinian demonstrations during the Gaza conflict.
"I am working in a bipartisan way to ensure the US-Israeli relationship sustains for generations to come, buoyed by peace in the Middle East," Schumer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Schumer, who has expressed his support for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict and has voiced his concerns about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasized the importance of not turning Israel into a divisive political matter, as it could have negative consequences for both Israel and the relationship between the United States and Israel.
Trump also claimed that Democratic lawmakers who criticize Israel are solely motivated by a desire to gain support from people who sympathize with Palestinians in Gaza, despite evidence to the contrary.

White House Condemns Trump's 'Offensive' Remarks
After the comments were made, the White House released a statement strongly criticizing Donald Trump's offensive and disturbing language targeting the Jewish community.
White House spokesperson Andrew Bates told Mediaite that President Joe Biden has taken a firm stance against offensive and irrational antisemitic rhetoric.
President Biden has put his foot down when it comes to vile and unhinged Antisemitic rhetoric. As Antisemitic crimes and acts of hate have increased across the world - among them the deadliest attack committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust - leaders have an obligation to call hate what it is and bring Americans together against it. There is no justification for spreading toxic, false stereotypes that threaten fellow citizens. None. Like President Biden said, he was moved to run for President when he saw Neo Nazis chanting 'the same Antisemitic bile that was heard in Germany in the 1930s' in Charlottesville.
Halie Soifer, CEO of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, reacted by saying, "Another day, another depraved antisemitic screed from Donald Trump, who has repeatedly vilified the overwhelming majority of American Jews."
In September, there was significant backlash against Trump when he shared a social media post that targeted "liberal Jews" during the start of Rosh Hashanah, a highly significant holiday for Jews globally. Jewish groups were particularly vocal in their criticism of the incident.
During that incident, Trump referred to his attack as a "quick reminder" for liberal Jews who voted based on what he believed were false narratives, with the intention of harming America and Israel.
