Dr. Dre Cements His Place Among Rap Royalty on Walk of Fame Next to Eminem, Snoop Dogg

Dr. Dre has been nominated for Grammys dozens of times over the years.

The rapper and producer Dr. Dre felt the love at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where he was honored with his star on Tuesday with Snoop Dogg and Eminem by his side.

Jimmy Iovine, Dre's Beats Electronics co-founder and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M, and longtime friend and collaborator Dogg spoke at the event.

Dre Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Eminem and 50 Cent were present in the crowd to show their support. Dogg thanked himself in front of the audience for listening to Dre over the years and letting him be his teacher, mentor, brother, guardian, protector, and, most importantly, a good friend.

The crowd cheered when the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' singer started rapping.

"Dr. Dre, my brother from another mother, a rock in the sand on the beach he'd soon discover, now we deep cover blood brothers on a mission. Dre's edition," he rapped. "House with no furniture, a studio in the back with a little bit of food in the kitchen."

"Now take a look at us, over 30 years later, and we are still on the grind in the studio, and you still make me do every line 100 motherf---ing times. Still," he continued. The rapper thanked Dre for being a perfectionist and always pushing him to be great.

In Iovine's remarks, he called Dre, who has been nominated for Grammys dozens of times over the years, "the greatest ever."

He said Dre is the greatest partner, friend, and ally anyone could have. He told the audience that if they wanted to be in the entertainment industry, they should pray they meet a Dr. Dre.

The rappers supported him and stood beside him when his star was revealed. They then posed for pictures together.

The 51-year-old Eminem was there to support his longtime partner, which is unsurprising. In an appearance on James Corden's 'This Life of Mine' on SiriusXM, Dre asserted that the 'Love Yourself' symbol could out-rap anyone else in the game even though he is a "white guy."

He claimed that his imagination is off the charts, and he does not think anyone would disagree with that. He noted he believes he is the best MC ever.

Eminem, Dogg Ends Beef

Eminem and Dogg, who started working more than 20 years ago, had a long-simmering conflict that erupted in 2020 after Dogg insulted Eminem in public, prompting the rapper to make fun of him in his songs.

However, the hip-hop artists were motivated to move on after Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm in January 2021 and needed two weeks of intensive care.

Eminem told his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, on SiriusXM's 'Paul Pod: Curtain Call 2' that he and Dogg had a little issue, and then when Dre had a brain aneurysm, they realized that this was stupid as hell to be feuding right now.

Eminem said any conflict between the two could be attributed to "miscommunication" regarding a potential partnership.
