Hunter Biden's 'Sugar Brother' Kevin Morris
Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden, has been accused by the Department of Justice (DOJ) of allegedly providing preferential treatment to his father's associate, Kevin Morris.
Federal officials conducting an investigation into Biden's tax affairs were called to CIA headquarters in Virginia. There, Morris was informed that he would not be able to provide testimony for their inquiry.
In a letter to William Burns, the director of the CIA, House lawmakers seeking the president's impeachment have demanded an explanation.
The whistleblower alerted the chairman of the Oversight Committee, James Comer, and the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan, that two Department of Justice officials had been called to the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency in Virginia and told Morris that he "could not be a witness" for their inquiry into Biden.
The House leaders have asked the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to turn over all of the files that are currently in its control that are connected to the Department of Justice's and the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) ongoing inquiries against Biden or Kevin Morris.
The CIA states that it works closely with oversight bodies and law enforcement partners, but it remains silent about specific investigations.
Two former IRS employees who spoke out against the agency said that President Joe Biden got in the way of the investigation by stopping other witnesses from testifying and tax investigators from asking questions that could lead them to Biden.

Committees Grill Morris on Biden Loan
The House Ways and Means Committee, the Oversight Committee, and the Judiciary Committee conducted an interview with Morris on January 18. During the duration of the interview, Morris said that he has provided the first son, who is 54 years old, with a loan of at least $5 million since they first met at a political fundraiser for his father in Hollywood in late 2019.
Since the start of the inquiry into the president's son's tax situation, which began one month after Hunter Biden had his initial meeting with the president, the Justice Department has been conducting ongoing investigations into the situation.
US District Judge Maryellen Noreika questioned the probe in July of last year, which initially resulted in a plea deal that did not include any conditions other than probation.
The Department of Justice deviated from conventional investigative procedures in its investigation of Hunter Biden, as shown by additional evidence that supports the whistleblower's testimony. According to a statement released by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to the New York Post, the agency does not interfere with investigations and works along with law enforcement partners.
The committee has demanded that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) produce any records that pertain to the investigation that the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service are conducting into Hunter Biden or Kevin Morris, DNYUZZ reported.
