Katy Perry has finally spoken out about locking lips with Miley Cyrus during a Los Angeles concert. Cyrus was performing at the Staples Center on Feb.22 - part of her "Bangerz" tour - when she spotted Perry in the front row and called her to the stage.
In front of fans and cameras, the 21-year-old singer planted a passionate kiss on Perry. During an interview with Australia's "Sunrise" TV show, the "Dark Horse" singer said she wasn't expecting Cyrus to kiss her like that.
"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away," she said, E! News reports. "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"
However, Perry tweeted a video of the kiss with the caption: "And after! I adore you @MileyCyrus."
The "We Can't Stop" singer might be making this a regular act during her concerts. On Mar. 3 during a concert in Las Vegas, she grabbed a female fan and planted a kiss on her. The concerts have been criticized for being overly sexual and, at times, raunchy.
Recently, there were reports that the singer was using a teleprompter during a Vegas show. Reportedly a fan snapped a picture of it and passed it along to Radar Online.
"I was at Miley's Vegas concert and took these pictures because I couldn't believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout the entire concert," the fan said. "And it's not like they were just there for nothing - I caught her looking at them more than a few times."
The fan also said that even though the show was enjoyable, Cyrus' vocals weren't that great.
"The show was entertaining, but she didn't sound good," the fan said.
