A thief in the state of Washington led law enforcement police on an investigation that lasted for hours until he was captured by a telephone wire that was hung at quite a distance above the ground.
Saturday was the day when the Vancouver Police Department responded to a complaint about a suspect who had entered a vehicle, stolen a number of items, and then ran into a neighbor's yard, where he was reportedly caught stealing a bike.
Man Climbs Restaurant Roof
A man who tried to avoid capture by the police by climbing onto the roof of a Little Conejo restaurant was not immediately noticed by police despite his actions. Starting with the act of hurling bricks, he began destroying windows and placing first responders who were in need of help in danger.
It was caught on video that he was hanging from a cable that was twenty feet above the ground. The impromptu acrobatic performance that was being provided was interrupted by him taking off his shirt and remaining uncooperative throughout the entire progress.
Raymond Egan, a captain with the Vancouver Fire Department, said the man did not want help in descending, and that it was difficult to assist him.
It was found by workers from the energy provider that the cable did not include any electrical components, according to Firehouse.

Firefighters Help to Rescue the Suspect
During the time that the man was attempting to rest his feet on a second line, the firemen made the decision to place Engine 1 beneath him to lessen the impact of his fall and prevent further injury.
A medical examination occurred on the suspect after he was taken into custody by the police and taken to a hospital in an ambulance during the course of the investigation. Utility company technicians examined the cable and determined that it did not include any electrical components.
