Sarah Ferguson - Duchess of York and sister-in-law of King Charles III - spoke of her admiration for Catherine, Princess of Wales, after she revealed her cancer diagnosis over the weekend.
Her comment came days after Catherine, 42, revealed in a video statement that she was receiving cancer treatment following abdominal surgery earlier this year.
The estranged wife of disgraced royal Prince Andrew was diagnosed with skin cancer earlier this year after facing breast cancer last summer. She said raising awareness would do a "tremendous amount of good."
"I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for the best outcome," she said in an Instagram post. "As someone who has faced their own battles with cancer in recent months, I am full of admiration for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will do a tremendous amount of good to raise awareness."
