Days after federal agents first executed simultaneous raids on Sean "Diddy" Combs' properties in Los Angeles and Miami, many online are raising concerns about a resurfaced video of the hip-hop mogul with a then-15-year-old Justin Bieber.
"[Justin's] having forty-eight hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we're doing we can't really disclose," Combs says in the video, which was first posted on Bieber's YouTube channel in 2009. "But it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream."
In describing their plans for Bieber's trip, Combs alluded to the film "48 Hrs," a raunchy 1982 action comedy starring Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. The film's plot includes clubbing and paying for sex.
"I have been given custody of him. He's signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album," Combs adds. "I don't have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he's with me and we're gonna go full crazy."
Combs, 54, is an icon of hip hop, with a net worth that reached an estimated $1 billion by 2022. He has long been subject to controversy and in recent months the mogul has been sued by multiple individuals alleging sexual misconduct and sex trafficking.
"It's super creepy seeing all these videos of Diddy coming out," one person wrote about the video, in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
The Department of Homeland Security has not yet disclosed why they simultaneously raided Combs' Miami and Los Angeles mansions. It is unknown whether he is the target of the investigation or what crimes the agency is looking into.
Comb's ex-girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie, alleged that he raped her and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes. Another woman accused Combs of raping her when she was a 16-year-old minor.
In the video, with 15-year-old Bieber, Combs shows the teen star a car and tells Bieber that when he returns in a year, the car will belong to him. He also promises Bieber access to a mansion when he turns 18.
"What do you wanna do for the next 48 hours," Combs asks Bieber, in the video.
"Let's just go and get some girls," the teenager said, after a moment's hesitation.
"A man after my heart," Combs replied. "That's what I'm talking about."
