Biden Campaign Launches Ad Urging Nikki Haley Supporters to Reject Trump in General Election, Vote Democratic Nominee Instead

Biden's campaign appeals to Nikki Haley supporters in a new advertisement.

President Joe Biden urged Republican backers of Nikki Haley to support the former President Donald Trump in the general election that falls in the autumn.

A long list of Trump's derogatory remarks about Haley, such as labeling her a "birdbrain" and declaring that everyone who supported her should be "permanently banned" from his MAGA movement, are included in the Biden reelection advertisement.

Biden Urges Nikki Haley Supporters to Vote for Him

The Donald Trump campaign has invested a significant amount of money in a 30-second ad that offers a critical perspective on Nikki Haley, questioning her suitability for the presidency and using derogatory language like "birdbrain."

According to the advertisement, supporters of Haley may face exclusion from the MAGA camp, and Trump seems to believe that he might not need an important percentage of Haley voters to secure victory in the upcoming November election.

The campaign is allocating over $1 million for the ad, which will be aired for three weeks in key states. The campaign given a statement earlier this week asserting that Trump is not seeking support from Haley voters.

Also, they mentioned that people who do not align with the "MAGA disciple" are not encouraged to join his campaign. The campaign said that Trump's efforts to attract Haley voters are non-existent, suggesting a lack of interest in moderate, independent, or Haley voters.

Haley has not publicly declared her support for any candidate in the presidential race. However, as her campaign progressed, she became more vocal in her disapproval of Trump, with whom she previously served as ambassador to the United Nations. No response was received from a spokesperson for Haley when asked for comment.

During the GOP primary campaign, Trump made a statement on his social media platform regarding Haley supporters, stating that they would be permanently banned from the MAGA camp, according to The Hill.

Trump's Invitation to Haley Voters Sparks Debate

Following Haley's withdrawal, Trump took to Truth Social to extend an invitation to all of Haley's supporters, urging them to join what he believes to be the biggest uprising in our nation's history. However, when questioned about his strategy to appeal to Haley voters, Trump responded, "I'm not sure we need too many."

Some supporters of Haley express doubt regarding the effectiveness of Biden's ad in swaying her voters. They point out that the majority of her supporters are Republicans who align closely with Trump's policies, despite their dislike for his demeanor.

A Republican strategist with close ties to Haley's camp pointed out that Biden's recent remarks criticizing the Israeli government's actions during the Gaza war and Vice President Kamala Harris' visit to an abortion clinic are not aligned with the opinions of Haley supporters.

Trump obtained impressive wins in the majority of the Republican primary contests, while Haley managed to garner substantial backing from hundreds of thousands of voters in essential battleground states. Interviews with supporters of Haley revealed varying views on their course of action in the wake of her leaving.

Some expressed motives to shift their support to Trump, while others showed strategies to back Biden. A portion of respondents, however, seemed inclined to abstain from participating in the race altogether.

In a recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, it was revealed that an important number of Republican-leaning voters who previously supported Haley for the nomination have now shifted their support towards Trump for the upcoming November election.

According to the poll, 49% of these voters expressed their intention to vote for Trump, while 37% indicated their preference for Biden. In the midst of a significant fundraising period, Biden has managed to establish a considerable financial edge over Trump. As a result, a new advertisement has been released, The Washington Post reported.
