According to the authorities, King was removed from life support on March 25.
The toddler's father claimed that it was a tough decision to donate his son's tiny organs.

The NYPD reported that at around 10:54 pm, an apartment at 206 Audubon Ave. in Washington Heights caught fire on March 20.
In addition to burns, a 1-year-old kid also suffered from smoke inhalation from his 2-year-old son. According to the authorities, the cause of the fire is unknown.
The authorities said the 2-year-old child spent more than a week in severe condition in the hospital. The police claimed that the 1-year-old boy's condition remained critical as of Monday.
Several sources reported that the mother, 23-year-old Skilyn Maldonado, left the house to get cigarettes right before the fire broke out. Sources claimed that the 8-year-old sister of the boys reported to the police that she was left home by herself with her siblings.
Maldonado was previously accused of putting a child's well-being in danger. It was unclear if she would be charged in the death.
The toddler's father was reportedly investigated and found not guilty. As of Monday morning, a GoFundMe for the family has collected more than $13,000.
The post said they are rallying to support them during this unimaginably difficult time as a tight-knit community.
