A teenager's life has just been ended over what is being referred to as a "blood debt".

A Wyoming teen Robert Dean Maher was fatally stabbed while protecting his girlfriend from two teens who referred to the crime as a "blood debt."

Fifteen-year-old boys, Antonio Richard Harris and Jarreth Joseflee Sabastian Plunkett, allegedly stabbed Maher twice in the stomach with a stolen kitchen knife after following the teen's girlfriend around the mall.

Plunkett has been charged with first-degree murder and had reportedly asked a friend of Maher if he was interested in paying the blood debt on his friend's behalf.

Plunkett, along with Harris, are being charged as adults with felonious conspiracy to commit murder, felonious aggravated assault and battery, and misdemeanor theft.

They both face life imprisonment if convicted.

Harris and Plunkett told police officials that this was an act of revenge against Maher, who had called them "freaks" a week prior, according to the Daily Mail.

While there is a video of the brutal attack, police have yet to release the footage.

The video claims to show Maher telling the boys that he was not interested in a fight before reacting to the weapon they pulled out.

"That's not fair," said Maher, to which one of the teens replied, "I don't play fair."

The affidavit obtained by the Daily Mail reported that Maher was stabbed twice during an altercation with two boys wearing hooded balaclava-type masks, according to witnesses on the scene.

In a police interview, Plunkett reportedly said Maher told him to "put the knife away; this isn't fair."

The pair told law enforcement they had stolen the kitchen knives from Target just before the grisly altercation.

The document also details Plunkett egged on Maher to swing at him several times; however, he clearly did not want to fight as he is seen moving in a continuous backward motion away from the boy.

"They were seen laughing and pointing as they ran through the parking lot while witnesses attempted first aid," said Chief Deputy District Attorney Blaine Nelson of the suspects.

"We are so devastated that nothing can bring you back. We love you, Bobby, my neeners, my jr. You will never be forgotten! I am dying inside and out right now and will be forever," wrote Maher's father in a Facebook post.

Bobby Maher was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m. on April 7 at the Eastridge Mall in Casper, Wyoming.
