California issued a mandatory recall for two products from former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson's cannabis company after mold was detected.

The Department of Cannabis Control sent out the alert on Tuesday for two batches of Tyson Undisputed Cannabis Flower products sold under the name "Toad" and "Tadpoles," SFGate and other media reported.

They were sold in 20 locations in California, including San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and packaged in August 2023.

The pot contained Aspergillus, a fungal mold that can cause allergic reactions and lung infections, said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The cannabis regulatory agency urged consumers to dispose of the product or return it to the retailer.

For people experiencing symptoms or reactions, the agency recommended contacting a physician.

The batch number is HT-9668-1.

Tyson has credited his marijuana use over the past decade for helping him overcome an addiction to cocaine.

He launched his Tyson 2.0 cannabis brand in 2021 and has expanded it across the U.S. and 16 other countries, the company's website says.

"In every endeavor, the brand undertakes Mike Tyson's legendary mindset of being the greatest of all time," it says on the site.
