"Batman vs. Superman" director Zack Sndyer successfully dodged a big Batsuit reveal rumor during a red carpet interview at the "300: Rise of an Empire" premiere.
Snyder was asked by Clevver Movies if the big Ben-Affleck-As-Batman reveal was coming up in March.
"Oh really?" he said. "Okay. I can't... I cannot confirm that."
He was seemingly caught off-guard by the question, but quickly bounced back by teasing the reporter about photos he might be keeping on his phone.
"Oh there's pictures of the suits," Snyder told Clevver Movies. "But you'd have to steal my phone to get... I'm just kidding - they're not on my phone." (Watch Snyder's interview in the video below)
The question was too off base, consider Forbes blogger Mark Hughes revealed in February his inside sources claimed the reveal was going to occur in March. However, Hughes has since updated his followers about the Batsuit reveal, claiming sources confirmed it was delayed yet again.
Snyder recently opened up to Hero Complex about the first time he saw the Batman and Superman costumes side-by-side.
"We were just testing the suits, right? The new Batsuit and the Superman suit," told Hero Complex. "It wasn't even with the actors, right? It was just to see 'em. I was standing there, they were standing next to each other. And I was like, 'Guys, someone take a picture! This has never happened before.' We slightly dork out. Like, 'Are you kidding me?!'"
The "Man of Steel" director isn't the only one who keeps dishing on the Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman costumes. "Batman vs. Superman" designer Michael Wilkinson explained to MLive why he keeps going back to the superhero suits to teak and improve them every step of the way.
"Every project I do I like to sort of improve on what's been done before," Wilkinson told Mlive. "...This is an opportunity to make it better."
Wilkinson added he began his designing process May of 2013, right after he wrapped up his duties on the "American Hustle" set. The actors have also been undergoing fittings and camera test in order to keep improving the suits.
"I think Warner Bros. plans to release the [character] photos, so I'm not sure about the date there. But...hold your breath," Wilkinson said jokingly.
The designer told MLive he is due on set from mid-April until shooting is set to wrap this December. You can check out Wilkinson's full interview with MLive in the video below.
"Batman vs. Superman" is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
