The Australian mall involved in the knife attack that left six people and the assailant dead will reportedly  reopen for business on Friday (Apr. 19) following a community reflection day on Apr. 18.

The Westfield shopping center in Bondi Junction was evacuated on Apr. 13 following the stabbings.

Joel Cauchi, the man who went on the horrific stabbing rampage in the Sydney shopping mall appears to have targeted women according to police and his family.

Six people remain in the hospital, with two women reported to be in critical condition and a baby in a serious but stable condition.

The infant's mother, identified as Ashlee Good, was one of the victims who died in the attack,

Scentre Group CEO Elliott Rusanow said that retail trade would be prohibited on Thursday, and members of the community could visit the center to pay respects, Australian public broadcaster ABC reported.

"Having a reflection day allows members of the community to come back, in a way that is not about retail trade," he said. "It's about paying respects, it's about coming back and feeling comfortable with coming back to Westfield Bondi."

Counseling services will also be available on-site during Thursday's event.

Scentre Group, which owns the Westfield mall chain in Australia and New Zealand, said that the mall would be "quieter" with low music and less advertising during the time of reflection.

"The center will be quiet to allow for reflection to occur as members of the community are able to come and pay their respects," Rusanow added. "Those quiet settings will continue on Friday and beyond in order to pay our respects to what has occurred here."

A candlelight vigil for the community will also be held on Sunday evening at Bondi Beach, which will include a one-minute silence to honor the victims.
