It has been nearly two months since Sebastian Rogers was reported missing from his Tennessee home but the community is not giving up hope that he will be found alive.
The 15-year-old with autism mysteriously disappeared on the night of Feb. 25.
His mother said she put him to bed in their Hendersonville, Tennessee home and the next morning he was gone.
"When I told him to go to bed, he was like, 'I love you, mom, I love you puppies,' and he went to bed; and I went to bed around midnight, and everything seemed fine, and when I went to wake him up for school, that's when I couldn't find him," Sebastian's mom, Katie Proudfoot said at the time.
Police issued an AMBER Alert and have conducted multiple searches.
A prayer vigil was held Saturday night at Beech High School, where Sebastian is a student. Friends and neighbors prayed for Sebastian's safe return.
"We thank you for Sebastian's life. And God, right now, we're seeking you. We're asking you for a miracle," said one man during a group prayer, WTVC-TV reported. "We're asking you to reveal yourself to us, to reveal the truth to us."
Sebastian's father has hired two private investigators to help in the case. Seth Rogers also is asking the FBI to get involved in the investigation.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has affirmed that there are no signs of foul play in Sebastian's disappearance, but there is also no evidence definitively ruling it out.
"Our commitment to finding Sebastian remains unwavering," Sumner County Sheriff Sonny Weatherford previously said.
