Several questions remain unanswered for the family of an Oklahoma teen found dead with nothing but a pair of shoes on and his teeth scattered next to him on a highway.
Noah Presgrove's death appeared seemingly violent.
The battered remains of the 19-year-old aspiring military soldier were discovered on Labor Day 2023. He was last seen alive at a friend's four-day birthday extravaganza in Terral, Oklahoma, near the Texas border.
A friend told investigators Presgrove went on a walk when he vanished.
"There was a wound to the back of his head, different skull fractures. He had ribs broken, and it was all on the left side," Presgrove's aunt, Robyn Smith, told NewsNation's Ashleigh Banfield Monday.
"They (police) said that they didn't think that this was from a vehicle," Smith explained. "There was no indication of any kind of injuries to the lower half of his body."
Detectives classified the victim's death as "suspicious," however seven months later, they still want to keep the investigation "quiet," and not many details have been released to the family, Smith said.
According to KFOR-TV, Presgrove's cousin, Lindsay Fowler, said, "Every single day, I think about him."
"At the end of the day, what we know is that he lost his life," Fowler added. "He was found on the side of the highway. And it appears that he was dumped there and someone knows what happened. And we want to know what happened."
