A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head in broad daylight Tuesday in Manhattan's trendy SoHo neighborhood.

The shooting happened just before 2:30 p.m. outside the high-end Dominick Hotel on Spring Street, across from the Chelsea Career and Technical Education High School.

A suspect fled the scene on a Citibike after the shooting.

Law enforcement officials told The Daily Mail that the New York City shooting may have been "school-related."

The teen was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead

In addition to the gunshot to the head, the student also suffered a wound to his thigh, said NYPD officials.

No arrests have yet been made and the police are currently looking for two suspects, according to The Independent.
