A man was arrested for a horrifying attack on a woman in New York City in which police reported he lassoed her with a belt, dragged her between two cars and then raped her.
Kashaan Parks, 39, was arrested Saturday and charged in the May 1 attack in the Bronx, the New York Post reported, citing the NYPD.
Police said the woman was lassoed from behind with a belt and pulled to the ground, "causing her to lose consciousness around 3 a.m.
"The male then dragged the victim between two cars and sexually assaulted her," the NYPD said in a news release.
Police released photos of the suspect on Friday and identified him as Parks.
The victim, who was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, has stopped cooperating with police, the New York Post reported.
