The video "portal" between New York City and Dublin reopened with new security measures aimed at preventing a recurrence of the lewd and disturbing antics that forced its closure, according to a report Monday.
Barriers and signs were set up around the circular screen near Manhattan's iconic Flatiron Building and the livestream will be blurred if anything obstructs its camera lens, CBS News reported.
The hours of operation were also scaled back from 24/7 to 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. in New York and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Dublin, where unspecified measures were also reportedly in the works.
Organizers pulled the plug on the two-way video feed last week after an online porn performer known as Ava Louise bared her breasts for the camera in New York.
On the Irish side, some people also displayed a video of the Sept. 11 terror attack on the Twin Towers and images of Nazi swastikas.
"As humans we are creating the Portals experience together. I invite local communities not only to enjoy but to care about their Portals and how other community members are approaching the sculptures," creator Benediktas Gylys said in a statement, according to CBS.
