Conservative political commentator Candace Owens suggested a complete ban on pornographic material on Wednesday, saying it was "created as a tool of enslavement" and that men addicted to it are the intended victims.
Owens' post was in response to another's post claiming pornography is a "first amendment right." Owens' response quickly went viral on the social media platform X.
Pornography was created as a tool of enslavement, not freedom. It was created by the most depraved among our human race to psychologcally introduce homosexuality, pedophilia and incest—religious sacraments to satanists

Owens then responded to her own post to add that men who struggle with porn addiction are "the intended victims" of the material.
"Don't feel ashamed talking about it. Knowing that it's wrong is a great first step," Owens finished.
The post quickly garnered reaction both agreeing and disagreeing with the sentiment of a porn ban, while others shared lifelines for those struggling with porn addiction to use.
