A Nevada teacher was found dead two days after accusations of handing inappropriate notes to a student, according to a report.
Nicholas Bott, 44, who worked at a middle school in Clark county was arrested Thursday, May 16 on a felony charge of child abuse and a charge of unlawful contact with a minor, reported People Magazine.
In police reports obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Bott was accused of handing "inappropriate" notes to a 14-year-old student and an investigation soon ensued.
According to police reports, Bott posted bond on Friday, May 17 and was due in court on June 20.
The Clark County Office of the Coroner confirmed that Holt died by suicide from a gunshot wound to the head two days after his arrest.
