Memorial Day can be an eventful holiday - with parades and parties but also more solemn events like flag plantings and ceremonies.
With so many options, it can be hard to keep track of events in your community. In an effort to streamline the process, the Veteran's Administration has compiled a database of more than 200 events being held both online and in person, across the country.
"VA is hosting ceremonies in honor of Memorial Day at VA National Cemeteries and invites everyone to join with Veterans and their families at these events taking place on and around Memorial Day weekend," the federal agency wrote on their website.
"A full listing of free events at ceremonies and other community Memorial Day events can be found [in the database.]"
