No. 22 Michigan State has been in even in their last 10 games, winning only five. The Spartans (23-7) ended their two-game losing streak on Thursday with an 86-76 win against Iowa.
"We've got to get on the road now and get to the Final Four," senior forward Adreian Payne said, via ESPN. "There have been a lot of excuses. Now, it's time to man-up and do what we need to do."
Sophomore guard Gary Harris leads the Spartans in scoring with 17.7 points per game, and junior swingman Branden Dawson leads the team in rebounding with 8.6 boards per game.
Ohio State (22-8), meanwhile, heads into Sunday looking to avoid a three-game losing streak. The Buckeyes are coming off consecutive losses on the road to Penn State and Indiana, 65-63 and 72-64, respectively.
"I think we're lacking in a confidence issue, we're lacking a toughness issue in terms of playing through situations," Buckeyes coach Thad Matta said. "Those are things that somehow, some way, we've got to get corrected."
Junior forward LaQuinton Ross is the Buckeyes' top scorer with 14.6 points per game, and junior center leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.
