Jill Biden blasted former President Donald Trump as a "bully" and "dangerous to the LGBTQ+ community" during an unexpected campaign appearance at a Pride festival in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania.

The first lady unloaded on her husband's presumptive Republican challenger during a speech in which she told the crowd in Pittsburgh, "This community is under attack," according to the Advocate.

"Donald Trump is a bully," she said. "He's dangerous to the LGBTQ+ community, to our families, to our country, and we cannot let him win."

Biden added: "We have to meet this moment as if our fundamental rights are at stake because they are. We have to meet this moment as if our democracy is on the line because it is."

Her remarks were repeatedly interrupted by applause and cheers, including a chant of "Four more years!" for President Joe Biden, the Advocate said.

Some attendees also reportedly heckled her with shouts of "Free Palestine!"

Jill Biden showed up at the event after delivering a commencement speech at Pennsylvania's Erie County Community College, the Hill reported.

But that appearance was reportedly politics-free, with the first lady — who teaches English and writing at Northern Virginia Community College — telling graduates to "Never be afraid to face the unknown" and "Take the risks that scare you," according to her prepared remarks.
