
The Baltimore Police Department is investigating after two fetuses were found on a city bus on Saturday.
Baltimore police and Maryland Transit Administration police responded to the 2500 block of Kirk Avenue around 12:40 p.m. Saturday after an MTA bus driver reported finding a fetus on a seat.
Police subsequently confirmed to multiple local news outlets on Monday that a second fetus had also been found on the same bus. Both fetuses were turned over to the medical examiner's office.

The BPD Homicide unit took over the investigation. Police did not reveal an approximate gestational age of the fetuses, or whether they were viable, and did not specify where they were found in relation to each other on the bus.
The investigation is ongoing.
