With a manslaughter trial looming just over the horizon, Alec Baldwin announced on Tuesday that he, along with wife Hilaria and their seven children, will be the subject of a TLC reality series coming in 2025.
The news comes at a bizarre time in the family's lives as Baldwin faces manslaughter charges stemming from the accidental shooting death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
Jury selection for the trial is set to begin on July 9th and, if convicted, Baldwin faces 18 months in prison, a possible sentence that would impact any shooting schedule for The Baldwins, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The "30 Rock" star, 66, and his wife, 40, shared the news in a video posted to Instagram, which offered a glimpse into the chaotic - and loud - domestic scenes that come with seven children: Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 3, María Lucía, 3, and Ilaria, 1.
After the couple introduces themselves, Hilaria says, "we have an announcement to make."
"Good God, no," Alec says, mockingly aghast at the possibility of a pregnancy announcement.
"No, definitely not! We're done having kids," Hilaria says.
"Home is the place we love to be most," Alec says as footage shows a small army of children tearing through their home, climbing, jumping and shouting.
"We're inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy," he said.
Alec and Hilaria married in 2012, and their first child, Carmen, was born the following year. Alec is also father to 28-year-old Ireland, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
