Country music singer Natasha Owens followed up her songs "Warrior" and "Trump Won" about Donald Trump with another ditty entitled "the Chosen One" that compares the former president to Jesus Christ.
"I'm standing with the Chosen one/Ain't no stopping what the Lord's begun," Owens sings on the single she is streaming on her platform and on YouTube.
The video has racked up more than 125,000 views in four days.
"So many greet him/With a Judas kiss/But God gave us a warrior/For such a time as this," Owens sings.
She said in a statement that she performed at Trump's Florida Mar-a-Lago resort where she dedicated her song "Warrior" to him and became inspired to write "The Chosen One."
Owens, 48, said she knows that Trump is not the Messiah, but she said the Bible shows that God has "used many imperfect men to do great things for his kingdom."
"We are in a battle between good and evil and I believe that God has chosen President Trump to push back against the evil in our country and the evil in this world. President Trump is 'The Chosen One,'" she said.
The song appears to reference Trump's conviction last month in Manhattan criminal court on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to disguise a $130,000 hush money payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels.
"I'm not saying/He's something divine/He gets in trouble bigly/Time after time/He's controversial/But one thing is true/Imperfect people/A perfect God can use," the lyrics say.
Trump touted the song on his Truth Social platform Friday. "'Trump Won'" Hitmaker Natasha Owens Declares Former President 'The Chosen One' with New Single," he crowed, linking to a press release about the single.
