Howard University has announced its decision to take back Sean 'Diddy' Comb's honorary college degree and return the rapper's $1 million donation to the school in the wake of multiple accusations of sexual miscondict against him.
A scholarship created in his name with the help of his contribution will also be shut down.
In addition, the school's administration is terminating a separate 2023 contribution agreement with the Sean Combs Foundation, which was set to donate another $1 million.
The announcement comes on the heels of multiple sexual misconduct allegations against Combs and a recent video showing the rapper hitting and kicking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a corridor of the Beverely Hills hotel.
Combs posted a video on social media admitting to the attack, calling it "inexcusable."
The university called his behavior in the 2016 video "fundamentally incompatible" with its core values and beliefs.
Howard University's board of trustees unanimously voted to accept Combs' return of the honorary degree given to him in 2014, according to Forbes.
Deemed the school's "highest honor," the institution no longer believes he is "deserving of the award."
Combs was hit with his seventh sexual assault lawsuit last month. One, brought by Ventura, was settled on undisclosed terms last year.
No charges have been filed against Combs.
