Cinamon Charmaine Rigmaiden is charged in connection with a deadly arson.

A Michigan woman went to an unexpected location to score drugs after setting fire to her ex-boyfriend's home, killing his mother and injuring two others, according to police.

Cinamon Charmaine Rigmaiden, 31, was arrested on Tuesday and is facing multiple felonies in Livonia, Michigan after allegedly setting her ex-boyfriend's home on fire last week, killing his disabled mother, Tina Dorrough, 53, and injuring his 57-year-old uncle and his 65-year-old fiancee.

After setting the June 3 fire, Rigmaiden went to a nearby McDonalds to buy cocaine, according to the Wayne County Prosecutors Office

Authorities also said the ex-boyfriend was not in the house at the time.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Rigmaiden with one count of felony murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, three counts of first-degree arson, and one count of third-degree arson.

Officials reveal that at approximately 11:17 p.m., Rigmaiden poured an accelerant on the front porch of the victim's home located in the 6000 block of Seminole Street in Detroit before setting it on fire and fleeing the scene.

Members of the Detroit Fire Department and Hamtramck Fire Department were dispatched to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire; however, when medics arrived, Dorrough was pronounced dead.

The two surviving victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

"Since when is the solution in the breakup of a relationship setting fire to an occupied house? The alleged actions of the defendant in this case are beyond reprehensible. As a result, there were three innocent victims. A woman has died, and two people were seriously injured," stated Worthy.
