An Idaho bar celebrating “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” also has an “unvaxxed” dating event planned for July.

An Idaho saloon that recieved mixed reaction after naming June "Heterosexual Awesomeness Month" has announced another hot-button event coming up at their bar.

On Tuesday, the Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho announced its hosting an "unvaxxed singles meetup" over the summer.

"Meet the UNVAXXED love of your life," the caption read.

"This just keeps getting better and better! Love this place!" one person wrote.

Another commenter responded, "Unvaxxed and married but love this idea for when my kids get older!!"

The Old State Saloon made headlines earlier this month when it announced in lieu of Pride Month, it would mark June as "Heterosexual Awesomeness Month" by celebrating with free beers and happy hour pricing for straight men and women, according to its Facebook. The bar is also selling "Hetero Month" merchandise.

The owner of the bar, Mark Fitzpatrick, talked about the June "rebranding" on a podcast shortly after, claiming that his "fifteen minutes of fame" happened for a "godly purpose."

The bar admitted it experienced backlash including, "theft of our property, vendors refusing to fulfill our orders for ingredients, wedding catering cancelation [sic], libel, slander - even the owner being falsely accused of being a sex offender!" following its announcement.

Acknowledging the controversy surrounding their play on the nation's month-long recognition of the struggles endured by the LGBTQIA+ community, the bar claimed in a Facebook post, "Please know: 1) We love our LGBTQ+ patrons! 2) We will not be changing our mind and give into the group of those who are responding with vitriol. 3) ALL are welcome to come celebrate heterosexuality with us in June!"

The saloon first announced in late May that it would "celebrate heterosexuals" in June because "without them, none of us would be here."
