A Seattle barista says she a drive-thru customer threatened her and threw coffee at her so she defended herself with a hammer.
Emma Lee owns a small coffee stand called Taste of Heaven Espresso.
She said a man started arguing over the cost of drinks. A video she shared with KIRO-TV showed the man get out of his car in front of Lee.
At one point he threatened her saying, "No one is going to miss you." That's when Lee said she felt threatened.
"Oh, OK. So you have no problem harming me, you're making that clear," Lee recounted to the TV station.
The man then threw his drinks back at Lee but she managed to close her window just in time.
As he got back into the car, Lee took a hammer she keeps for safety and smashed the driver's windshield.
"You thought you were going to throw drinks on me and ruin my day?" Lee said. "You're going to pay for a new windshield and it's going to ruin your day."
The police eventually got the driver to leave and no charges were filed, according to KIRO-TV.
