Marley, a five-year-old girl from Atlanta, was seriously injured at a daycare summer camp after a tragic accident.
She was going down and ended up being strangled by a jump rope.
Marley became unresponsive after the incident.
She was rushed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she was taken to the intensive care unit.
Marley's aunt, Tascia Jones said, "We are grateful that as of 6/14/24, she is awake and responsive, but she still has more testing ahead."
Marley's family shared an update on the GoFundMe page for the five-year-old, announcing that as of Sunday, Marley's MRI was cleared, and she is now recuperating at home.
Jones created the GoFundMe page on behalf of her sister, Samara, to help pay for Marley's medical expenses.
"We thank you all for your continued prayers and support," the family said.
It's still unclear whether any other children were involved in the incident.
