Police confronted an unidentified woman accused of selling puppies out of a "hot bag" on a New York City street corner outside a dollar store.
As soon as an officer cut open the woman's pink backpack Saturday, one puppy peeked its head out, according to police body cam footage. When the officer opened the bag wider, at least six puppies were seen stuffed inside.
"They're dripping in sweat. Let's get these dogs out of here," the officer said, according to a video shared by the New York Police Department.
