Justin Timberlake refers to his troubles with the Long Island law in his first concert since he was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Pop singer Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons resort community on New York's Long Island.

The former NSYNC member was pulled over in Sag Harbor on Monday night.

Timberlake was released from custody later in the morning after being arraigned, the Associated Press reported.

He was charged with one DWI count, with his next court date scheduled for July 26, the Suffolk County district attorney's office said 

A spokesperson for the singer didn't immediately respond to HNGN's request for comment.

Timberlake, 43, has concert appearances scheduled Friday and Saturday in Chicago, followed by two shows next week in New York City's Madison Square Garden.

The entertainer got his start as a Disney Mouseketeer. After he left NSYNC in 2002 he and embarked on a solo career.

He has also appeared in several films including "The Social Network" and "Friends With Benefits."
