Authorities in Colorado are investigating a triple homicide that was discovered after a report of a sexual assault was made on Sunday night, the Canon City Daily Record reported.
According to a police press release, officers responded to a home around 8 p.m. after a woman reported the assault. After entering the home, the officers discovered three bodies.
However, the statement also said police detained a suspect from the home and determined that the area is no longer dangerous to the public.
The names of the victims have not been released and police are expected to provide updates about the investigation on Monday morning.
