Power outages have been reported across at least five European countries as they deal with extreme heat.

Widespread outages have been reported in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovia, Croatia and Montenegro, according to the Metro.

The outage across most of Montenegro was blamed on an exploding transmission line.

Several cities in Southern Croatia suffered a massive outage due to "an international disturbance."

Countries along the Adriatic coast were experiencing temperatures topping 100 degrees Fahrenheit, WorldEcho News reported.

The exact cause of the outage wasn't immediately known.

Bosnia's state power company blamed it on a regional distribution line, while Albania's state power company said it was "extreme heat."
