Cori Bush, another of the Demcoratic party's most progessive house members, is in danger of losing her primary following Jamaal Bowman's defeat, according to recent polling.

A new poll shows that moderate-Democrat Wesley Bell has overcome a double-digit deficit in January that puts him ahead of Congresswoman Bush by a single point.

While Bush is still viewed favorably, evaluations of her and her performance are seemingly moving in a more negative direction as Bell's image is gradually improving, leaving him with an underlying advantage, according to Politico.

With roughly six weeks to go and 11% of voters still undecided, the race could essentially go either way.

Bell is now ahead by a point, with 11% undecided, showing substantial improvement from January, when Bush was leading the multi-candidate field by 16 points.

A 61% majority give Bell positive ratings for the job he is doing as St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney, while only 27% offer negative feedback.

Bush's positive ratings are 12 points lower than Bell's, and negative evaluations of Bush's performance are 18 points higher than those of Bell.

With 60% favorable toward Bush and 31% unfavorable, Bush is not unpopular.

But Bell's favorables are 4 points higher than Bush's, and his unfavorables are 9 points lower than those of the congresswoman, clearing an advantage for him on this note as well.

George Latimer, a pro-Israel centrist, defeated US Rep. Jamaal Bowman on Tuesday in a Democratic primary in New York that highlighted the party's divide over the war in Gaza.
