A car wash employee was killed and two others were killed in a tragic accident in Fairfax, Virginia.

A car crashed around 11 a.m. on Saturday in the parking lot of the Flagship Carwash.

The victim was identified as 62-year-old Martha Clemencia Nguyen.

The city expressed condolences to the victim's families and bystanders who were present at the time of the incident.

"Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and others who witnessed this event unfold. Such an unexpected loss of life impacts our community, and we share the grief many are feeling who know the victims and bystanders."

The other two injured employees were expected to survive.

The investigation is ongoing but police said it did not appear as though speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
