A survivor of the grueseome Ohio State Fair Fire Ball ride incident received a massive multi-million dollar payout in the tragedy that left her boyfriend dead.

Keziah Lewis was awarded $20 million in a civil suit against ride manufacturer KMG, according to the Cooper Elliott Law Firm, WCMH-TV reported.

Lewis was among eight people who were injured on the ride at the 2017 Ohio State Fair in Columbus, after a row of seats "snapped off" mid-swing, according to the outlet. Her boyfriend, Tyler Jarrell, 18, died on the scene.

The court "found KMG was aware of the defect in the ride as early as 2012 and failed to alert ride owners nationwide. This negligence, combined with the oversight by inspectors and the ride's operators, culminated in the tragic incident," the law firm said in a statement Monday, the station reported.

Lewis subsequently underwent 12 surgeries and racked up more than $2 million in medical bills. The accident resulted in a lifelong neurological deficit in her right foot, her attorneys claimed, according to The Columbus Dispatch and WCPO-TV.

KMG has so far paid out a total of $78 million to the injured parties, including Jarrell's estate.

Still, the court has allowed for the Fire Ball ride and KMG to continue operating at fairs across the country.
