Authorities arrested New York Times bestselling author Brendan DuBois on child porn charges.

DuBois, 61, stands accused of six counts of possession of child porn, said police in Exeter, New Hampshire, Seacoast Online reported.

Detectives in New Hampshire and Massachusetts assisted in the investigation.

The author turned himself in on an arrest warrant Wednesday.

He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce initiated the investigation into DuBois, and a search warrant resulted in his arrest, said police, according to the outlet.
