A life skills teacher and cheerleading coach at a charter school in Arizona has been busted for having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy who had been missing since February, according to reports.

Robyn Rogers, 44, a teacher at Telesis Preparatory Academy, a charter school in Lake Havasu City, was charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, Today's News-Herald reported.

Police who had been investigating the boy's disappearance from his home on Valentine's Day received a tip that the minor was staying at an address in Lake Havasu City.

Officers with the Lake Havasu Police Department began monitoring the address on July 11 and contacted Rogers in the belief that she was hiding the boy.

While talking to Rogers, officers saw the boy leaving the home through the back door and gave chase before taking him into custody.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Unit learned that the boy was involved in a sexual relationship with Rogers, who was hiding him from authorities.

Along with the sexual conduct with a minor, Rogers was also charged with hindering prosecution, false reporting to law enforcement, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rogers is being held on a $25,000 cash bond for the three charges of sexual conduct with a minor. She received a secured bond of $5,000 for her remaining charges.
