Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's cozy Starbucks date turned into a reconciliation as the couple are reportedly back together, according to Hollywood Life.
Bieber has recently made headlines after videos from his legal deposition relating to his bodyguard allegedly attacking the paparazzi came out last week. The 20-year-old popstar was seemingly in a bad mood, but things during the meeting quickly escalated after lawyers mentioned Selena Gomez.
"Selena is his heart and he wants to protect her and not drag her into anything or even give any implication that she's part of something that she's not," an insider told Hollywood Life. "It was simply weird and strange that she was even brought up and that really pissed him off."
However, another Hollywood Life source claims Bieber has Gomez "wrapped around his finger" and it was only a matter of time before they were back together.
"He has Selena so wrapped around his finger that he will still probably cheat on her," the source told the gossip site. "He thinks he is this big pimp or G."
Gomez is reportedly smitten with Bieber when he's not around his friends; the way popstar treats her around others doesn't reflect how he treats he when they are alone.
"When they are all together he doesn't treat her right, but she totally takes it since she is so obsessed with Justin," the source said. "No wonder her friends are ditching her."
According to Hollywood Life, Gomez isn't concerned about losing friendships because of her romance with Bieber, including her country star best friend, Taylor Swift.
"Selena thinks if Taylor were really her friend she wouldn't give her an ultimatum or make her choose between the two," the insider said. "She respects Taylor and always will, but the most important thing to Selena is Justin right now."
