A gunman who fired at two police vehicles on a Florida highway on Wednesday remains unidentified.

Around 11:38 p.m. on August 7, two Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were driving northbound on Interstate 95 near Sheridan Street when their marked patrol vehicles were struck by what appeared to be two gunshots, causing windshield damage upon impact.

Neither deputy was injured, but detectives are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.

The investigation is ongoing.
