Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Engagement: Kris Jenner Admits to Planning Elaborate Kimye Proposal?

Kris Jenner reportedly helped plan Kanye West's "surprise proposal" to Kim Kardashian. According to Radar Online, new court documents reveal that the Kardashian matriarch admitted that she was "very hands-on" and helped put together the elaborate event.

"Jenner made the bombshell confession in a declaration for [Kim] Kardashian and West's ongoing lawsuit against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, who, they claim, illegally leaked a video of the proposal," Radar writes.

According to the site, in her declaration Jenner reportedly said that she "played a major role in organizing the event."

"As part of this, I was directly involved in formulating and was familiar with the guest list," she continued.

During the proposal episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Jenner told her kids that she had no idea what was going on and was in the dark about everything just as much as they were. By now, many fans of the show might not be surprised to find out that she allegedly helped put it all together.

According to Radar, during the declaration Jenner said that Hurley was never invited to the proposal but he came with someone who was.

"Mr. Hurley was not invited by the organizers of the event," she said. "He was not even invited to attend; Kim and Kanye did not know him. We would not have been upset in the least if he had to leave - or never even attended in the first place - and he had not earned the trust of Kim, Kanye, or me."

Reportedly Kardashian and West believe Hurley shot a behind-the-scenes video of the proposal and then uploaded the video before E! could air it on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

The YouTube co-founder responded to the allegations and has not denied that he shot and uploaded the video but claims that "no one ever told him he wasn't allowed to shoot or distribute the footage," HipHopDX reports.

He also said that after the proposal, he was approached and asked to sign a form that would allow E! to use his image on a TV special and without reading the document, he signed it. Reportedly the document turned out to be a confidentiality agreement.

Hurley also said that Kimye's team had him hold the signed document and pose for a picture as evidence. Hurley is asking the judge to throw out the lawsuit and for Kardashian and West to pay for his legal fees.
