After the wild success of her first two perfumes, Purr and Meow, Katy Perry is gearing up to release her third fragrance. Showing a different, more royally side Perry decided to stray away from her previous cat-shaped perfume bottles and go with a more elegant, jewel-shaped look.
Perry recently held a fragrance launch party in New York City. According to the Huffington Post, Perry wore a red and white Thom Browne dress coated in sequin flowers with a matching mani. She teased fans by tweeting pictures of her flashy manicure and perfume bottle.
Perry recently landed a deal with French Beauty Company, Coty. The beauty company revealed that they would be working with the singer to develop a line of signature scents. Killer Queen might be the first signature scent in Perry's new fragrance line.
"Coty has become my partner," the 28-year-old singer told Billboard magazine. "We are working on the next fragrance, which is almost finished."
She also told Billboard that the fragrance will hit stores sometime this year. Coty said they were excited to partner with the "California Girls" singer.
"We are thrilled to have an artist as creative and talented as Katy Perry join us at Coty," Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, said in a statement to Billboard. "Katy is original and daring-her unique approach to music and life will serve as the inspiration behind her innovative new scents and allow us to explore new avenues of scent creation."
Beyoncé, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez have also paired with the French beaut company for their fragrances.
