No. 15 North Carolina compiled a 12 straight win before losing in the regular-season finale to Duke, 93-81. Although North Carolina won their first meeting of the season against Duke, the Tar Heels were outrebounded 34-20 at Duke on Saturday.

"I think at the end of the day, it just came down to our want-to against their want-to, and it just wasn't there -- the sense of urgency," junior forward James Michael McAdoo said of the loss, via ESPN.

Still, the Tar Heels (23-8) finished the regular season strong heading into the league and NCAA tournaments.

"I definitely remember being 0-3 and 1-4 (in the league), and that feeling is not going through this locker room," sophomore guard Marcus Paige said. "We know we still have a chance to make some noise later on, and this isn't going to change that."

Pittsburgh, meanwhile, won three of their last five regular-season games, including their finale on Saturday against Clemson. The Panthers (24-8) advanced to the ACC quarterfinals after defeating Wake Forest on Wednesday, 84-55.

North Carolina dealt Pittsburgh a 75-71 loss when they met on Feb. 15.
